We use cutting edge equipment, innovative testing practices, and best-in-class extraction methods, so we can source the best plant genetics that yields the highest quality, broad and full-spectrum hemp oil products.
We start with by using (CO2) as a solvent to extract oil from botanical plant material because it yields safer, cleaner and purer oil. We then use a nano-emulsification process to combine the exotic hemp-derived oil with benefit-based terpenes, and adaptogens for highest efficacy. We do all of this without adding any artificial flavors or sugars to our products.
While this extraction method is more difficult than others, it produces a high quality and reliable CBD extract. Unlike other methods, it doesn’t compromise the beneficial compounds of the plant.
Yes, we use an internationally recognized laboratory called Green Scientific Labs to do third party laboratory reports on every batch of CBD oil we produce, without exception. We then double down on testing by using a separate 3rd party to verifty the original lab results. We take zero chances, cut no corners, and demand perfection.
Our products are made with ingredients grown in nature. Sometimes these ingredients vary slightly from batch to batch. At The Raw Botanics Co. we do not use any additives, stabilizers or dyes to standardize the color of our products.
Giving you a 100% natural CBD oil.
If you experience any color difference from product to product that is due to the natural variation in our hemp crops. We thoroughly test each batch to ensure that the amount of hemp extract stays consistent in each product, so you needn't worry if your oil looks different from last time.
Don’t worry, there is no need to be alarmed if your oil is turning pink. We use coconut based MCT oil as the carrier oil for our hemp extract. MCT oil contains powerful antioxidants, such as polyphenols, which can turn pink when exposed to different levels of light and/ or oxygen. It happens to coconut water and it happens to fresh coconut as well. It is perfectly safe to use and causes to no change to the quality or effectiveness of the oil.
Long story short, Hemp and Marijuana are two different species of the same plant family — similar to a Roma Tomato and a Cherry Tomato. The main difference between these two species is the level of THC, so consider Hemp to be Marijuana’s sober botanical female cousin, containing less than 0.3% of THC. We also want to point out that we don’t love the word “Marijuana.” We’ll refer to it here for educational purposes to differentiate “Hemp” from “Marijuana” in the Cannabis family, but if you’re interested in learning more about the history behind the word “Marijuana,” visit The History of Hemp.
CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of a group of over 80 phyto-cannabinoid compounds that are found in the Hemp (Cannabis Sativa) plant.
CBD specifically comes from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant. (Not to be confused with oil that comes from hemp seeds, which contain no cannabinoids.)
CBD is a non-psychoactive compound - it doesn’t get you high – and in its pure form isn’t controlled. For this reason, interest in the potential health benefits of the compound have increased, and CBD has become a part of many people’s health and wellness regime.
Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is one of the most well-known cannabinoids identified in cannabis. THC is the principal psychoactive constituent of cannabis. This is the element of the cannabis plant that get's you "high" when ingested. Raw Botanics products are all THC free.
Hemp is a nutrient-dense plant that’s used across the globe as food, fiber, supplements and medicine. Hemp stalk and seeds contain terpenes, flavonoids, vitamins, chlorophyll and amino acids and its flowers contain phytocannabinoids like CBD.
This is a great question to tackle early on. To put it simply, cannabinoids promote balance and overall wellness by moderating the communication between the cells of our bodies.* There are two types of cannabinoids: endocannabinoids, which our body naturally creates and phytocannabinoids, which are derived from cannabis and hemp.
The essential oils present in the cannabis plant — and in fact in all plants — terpenes are like the hardworking herbal roadies to the cannabis flower rock-star. Laboring behind the scenes, terpenes give cannabis its distinctive aromatic and flavor qualities, as well as imparting a host of therapeutic effects.
You may have heard of CBD (If not, don't worry... We will explain below). But what about CBN? CBG? CBC?Cannabinoids -- the active chemicals in medical marijuana -- are similar to chemicals the body makes that are involved in appetite, memory, movement, and pain. Research suggests cannabinoids might: Help us sleep, reduce anxiety, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain.
Adaptogens are non-toxic plants that help your body handle stress, whether physical, chemical or biological. These herbs and roots have been used for centuries in Chinese and Ayurvedic healing traditions. The Raw Botanics Co. uses customized adaptogen formulas to help create life balance.
CBD is a phytocannabinoid, and has been shown to help the endocannabinoid system (ECS) preserve the body’s natural supply of endocannabinoids. Science has demonstrated that supplementing our supply of endocannabinoids with phytocannabinoids may help the body’s ability to thrive in a wide variety of ways.
